The importance of taking care of our environment has had an increasing influence on how businesses are run in the coating-industry.

It’s not only laws and guidelines but consumers also demand environmental friendly products and processes. This has lead to an increasing amount of customer demands concerning environmental issues. This is also of great importance to LFT. We try to minimize the effect we have on the environment when applying coatings.

During the production process we pay special attention to the following:
– recycling of powder
– separation of waste for an efficient and safe disposal
– re-use of packaging materials
– re-capture the heat produced by the heat ovens
There is also the possibility of using water-based coatings. A lot of research has been done this year to find out the sustainability of this new coating.
